ANOTHER MAJOR INVESTMENT - Aside from entering a number of investment platforms, which include UITFs and the stock market, I am currently firming up plans for the construction of a 3-storey apartment in Valenzuela City. This is proximate to the Our Lady of Fatima University and Hospital. Another ‘baby’ on its way!

GOOD NEWS? - Honestly, I only read papers from cover to cover on Sundays. And look what caught me.

Immediately after graduation, when I was about to enter a digital advertising agency, I was tapped by the Philippine National Bank to join their management training program. A few months after, I became an Assistant Manager, where I was able to handle public sector and corporate accounts. It is all financial analysis, economics, and all that concerns number crunching.

Lo and behold, after two years in the bank, I decided to return to the advertising industry as a Strategic Planner. Some would question my decision of letting go a stable position in the banking industry. As I see it, I never wasted my time in the bank, it is where I acquired professional maturity and where I gained knowledge on various industries - on the financial side.

As much as we plan life, life has its own plan for us. We just have to know our priorities, jump in the thrilling ride at the perfect time, and enjoy! In the end, it is more regretful not to take chances and not to make decisions.

Our future is all by chance, luck, and preparation.

The trial is almost over, and here’s my position:

CJ’s defense is more believable than the prosecution’s anonymous sources.

1. Transparency - Yes. You dared him to open his bank accounts. He dared you to sign a conditional waiver but you rejected it and so he volunteered. You didn’t take his first challenge. As expected, he ended clean. Bank accounts were all clear!

2. Politically-Motivated - Yes. Obviously, the Aquino Administration is merely “removing the dirt.” I go for check and balance.

3. SALN - The strongest position against Corona. However, almost all politicians also failed to indicate their dollar accounts in this document. If he’ll be impeached on this grounds, I suggest we take a look at all the Congressmen and Senators’ SALNs.

4. Objectivity - Let’s not be swayed by the media who form belief biases among the viewers. Wag hanapan ng butas, kung wala naman talaga.

BOHOL # 12: Panglao Island, Bohol

Like Boracay, the beach front is a strip of restaurants, bars and spa houses dominated by foreign tourists. This is your gateway to Balicasag Island and the Virgin Island where you can enjoy snorkeling near the fish sanctuary protected by the Philippine Navy.

Although there are lesser water activities here than in Boracay - no banana boat, helmet diving, etc., Bohol amazed me with the various species of fish of different colors and sizes! Too bad we don’t have an underwater camera to capture the beauty of the sanctuary.

BOHOL # 10: Dolphin Watching

First stop of Panglao tour is the dolphin watching at around 7 in the morning. I was not expecting to see any dolphin because the spot is a bit far from the main island (imagine you can already see the neighbors - Siquijor and Cebu; making it about 15-20 minutes boat ride). To my delight, a pod of dolphins was on the area set to look for food in open sea. We arrived at the perfect time! Nothing compares to the feeling of seeing a pod of dolphins play in its natural habitat and entertain spectators by flipping and doing tricks under and near the boat. Amazing.
